If I am alergic to cats, is their any way to get over this?

The only thing in the world I'm alergic to is cats! Theres a stray outside, and I petted it, and today, my nose is running like a faucet. The normaly car alergic reaction makes one of my eyes swell up. Anyways, is their any CURE for being alergic to cats?

well it's weird cause i'm allergic to cats as well but i've had them for 10 years and it's just recently that i found out.but i take singulair for the allergies but i think you prolly have a bigger allergy than me so I think you should go talk to your doctor and see wat he can do to help.good luck

there is no cure but meds, regular hand washing after contact and if you want to own one get a short hair making sure to dust and vacuum daily should help avoid symptoms

some people outgrow allergies. but other then that there is medicine to prevent bad symptons, but i don't think there is a cure. try getting an anti histamine shot.

ask your doctor if allegra might be right for you.
