I was born without a belly button, how is that possible?

Question:

My parents both died when I was two years old, and no remaining family. I have no belly button, or navel, and am wondering if I am totally alone on this? Are there others without navels?

no, there no others like u probably you camme from another planet ha ha ha thets pretty wiered but i know there are some people like you in Africa because their belly buttons are on the arms, head etcetra. you know, my room mate has a friend that doesn't have a belly button. she had seen it, but didn't know why this girl didn't have one. it is possible, but i don't understand were you were fed from. ask a doctor.

It happens either when your umbilical cord was cut to close to the surface or if you had surgery when you were born and aome of the flesh from your belly was removed.
