YOu know, everybody concerns themselves about catching something.but no matter what, there is only one way to find out.you either find out by going to the doctor and try to solve it, or know nothing and die from it.
i suppose if you get it in your head that you might have a certain disease your body might develop symptoms, kind of like how when cancer victims were given a placebo and told that it would cure their cancer it really did.power of the mind
your mind can indeed make you ill. your best bet is to see a doctor and tell him of your concerns . If you do have something they can sort it out , if you don't, they can ease your mind and get rid of a lot of stress.

Yes you can. There is hypochondria (constantly worrying that something is wrong with you). And there is another form where physical symptoms actually appear. The mind is very powerful! If you keep worrying, you can actually get sick.
I don't know if this is an urban legend or not, but I heard about a girl who was so worried that she might be pregnant, that she actually stopped having her period and started getting morning sickness!
Go to the doctor. There may be something wrong with you, but atleast there is a chance of getting it treated.
And think what a relief it will be. . . .
Yes.
My hubby has a hernia. he will need to have an operation.
My nine year old daughter for the past several days has a stomach ache. (real) and is convinced she has a hernia.
She's spent the past few days sick to her stomach over fear of a cavity. (She doesn't know why her stomach is hurting. I do because I monitor her anxiety. and she's obsessed.)
The human brain works that way - especially in those of us who are "stricken" with anxiety disorders. I come from a long line of "crazies" and *off topic* I am quite concerned she has been passed the family curse.
*eyeroll*
Yes it is a psychosomatic disorder. You can experience the symptoms of a disease and not having the condition. Example: A woman that want so bad to be mother, she can experience the symptoms and she's not really pregnant.
You get what you focus on. If you indulge a lot of negative thinking about your health you will in essence make yourself sick. Fear is a powerful emotion and should not be dwealt upon a lot. Confidence is a better state of mind for physical wellness. Psycho-Somatic. Which indicates symptoms brought on in a physical sense as a result of one's thinking it. As A Man THINKS, So Is He. Try to overcome your fear and if you'd like a little idea as to what to think on, where your focus is best laid, for your better health, then shoot me an email.
not uless your a HYPOCHONDRIAC
have you ever heard of a hypochondriac? look it up, the answer is yes. this doesn't however mean that those symptoms are unfounded if it bothers you see a doctor
