how can I remedy difficult swallowing?

Question:
A few weeks ago i started having a lot of difficulty with my swallowing and it's getting worse by the second (shocking almost everytime i try) Can anyone help me?

Answers:
You may have a growth in your throat.

Are you having trouble breathing, too?
You may be having an allergic reaction that is getting worse and worse as time goes by.

Or you may have something more simple like a throat infection.

See a doctor as soon as possible!!

Other Answers:
you probably need an antibiotic, see your doc.
sounds like strepp throat - they have antiobiotics to make it go down -- they gave me a shot in the booty for it
That is not normal! Please see a doctor ASAP.

Hoping it is nothing serious.
go see a docter before it's too late
You are probably getting a sore throat, you should of course go to the dr. But try the following first, try gargling with salt and warm water, suck on a few cough drops, and try over the counter medicines such as throat spray or lozenges. If it persists then go to the dr to find out what is wrong.
Go see a doctor and get a prescription for Nexium. You have acid reflux with scarring in your esophogus.

Been there done that.
It depends on if you are sick or not.. Maybe you should go see if you have streph or soar throat.. For a sore throat You can try gargling with salt water.. or take some pain mediecen to help you swallow easier
See a doctor!!
For this to come on and continue getting worse, you need to see a professional.
Go soon. Difficulty swallowing is a symptom of many scary diseases that need quick treatment.
Difficulty swallowing can lead to difficulty breathing and you don't want it to get that far.
GO TO A DOCTOR! NOW!!
One SEE YOUR DOCTOR. If there is fever, it may be the start of Mononucleosis. That is one of the big syptoms.

Did you have any trauma to the area recently. If so, tell the MD.

You don't mention pain. Is there any? Are your ears affected?

Is it midthroat, upper, or all over? Too many possibilites. SEE DOCTOR
see a doc but if you are like me & think they are all like car mechenics (fix one thing & breack something else) than try drinking something warm (hot tea, soup, hot toddy) before eating
Well since it has continued to worsen i would seek medical attention! Then i would ask the doctor to go through an allergy test w/ you to see if you are allergic to anything, if you have eaten or drank anything you maybe allergic it may have caused irratation and swelling in your throat making it difficult to swallow.
