actually, I am about half your age and have this same problem sometimes so I don't think it necessarilly has to do with age ; /
I have never been dislexic or had problems with this type of brain confusion, I guess I would call it(usually temporary throughout disease exaberations) before I started having autoimmune problems. Some things that bring this on for me are stress, being out in the sun, heat and humidity, and sudden onset of fatigue. There are many conditions that can cause this type of symptom, such as fibromyalgia, lupus, multiple sclerosis, dietary deficiencies and I imagine many others. My best suggestion is that you make a list of when this problem affects you most (does anything make it better or worse) along with a list of any other symptoms or strange changes you have noticed and talk to your physician. He/she may refer you a rheumatologist, neurologist, dietician or some other specialist for more testing but some of these conditions should not be ignored.

that is what happens when you get older
There's a good reason for that. Oh I completely forgot what I was going to say. Are you dyslexic or dyspraxic? I have both of these conditions, and that is an obvious symptom, which is know to become more obvious over time. There is no cure (for dylexia, dyspraxia OR memory loss) I'm afraid, however, you could try doing mental exersizes, nothing too strenuous, just cross words or mind games. These should keep your brain more active and less prone to the above symptoms. I hope this helps!
It is normal to have some memory impariment at your age for whatever reason. You problem sound a little deeper than just a memory problem. You are having problems with your depth perception, consentration, control over body motion and for a teacher your spelling. I think you should speak to your Doctor about what is happening.
my motor in law had this a lot later in life, you should contact your doctor and report this, she/he will give you some help,if its the same as my mother in law, it will worsen with time, the time passes by with the help of others look after your self
