Why do I get leg and foot cramps when I eat bananas?

Question:

Answers:
Due to past experience, the leg & foot cramps come from poor blood circulation. I think you getting cramps following your bananas may be a coincidence. The potassium only helps. I was told by many drs. to take extra vitamin C. If you stretch you muscle as the cramp just begins, it will stop it quickly. For the leg cramp, stretch out your leg and pull your toes towards you. It works all the time. Good Luck! :)

Other Answers:
maybe you have an allergic reaction.

define "bananas"
If it's several hours later it might have something to do with the large amount of potassium in bananas. But potassium is supposed to help prevent cramps, not make them..
