Why do mosquitoes bite me more than the person next to me?

Question:
They seem to go for ankles most as well. Replenants ect do not work

Answers:
Why do mosquitoes seem to bite some people, but not others? This phenomenon is not completely understood. Mosquitoes are attracted by the carbon dioxide that we - and other animals - exhale. They may also be attracted by various odors - perfume, perspiration, lactic acid, detergents - that combine in unique ways to make one victim more attractive than another as a meal. Because dark colors absorb heat and lighter colors tend to reflect heat, mosquitoes also tend to be more attracted to victims dressed in darker clothes. Also, some people react more violently to the bites than others and only appear to be bitten more often.

Every person 'smells' slightly different. Female mosquitoes are attracted to some people's smell more than others.

I have lived in Spain for 8 years and at first i was bitten all the time. Now I don't get bitten at all. Maybe they are used to my taste.
I think that when you go to a new place, all the mosquitoes think 'aahhhhhh fresh blood!!'

'cause your blood contains More sugar than the person next to you! Well there could be a number of reasons.Mosuitoes are attracted to sweat and dark colors. It may also depend on what you eat.If you had a banana for lunch, then they love you. There is a chemical in bananas that drives them crazy.

Well, it's quite simple really, mosquitoes tend to look for three things, before choosing their victim; they look for heat, sweat, smell! Say if you sweat more than the person next to you they, mosquitoes, will choose you to feast upon. Heat and sweat are a failsafe for them to insure that the victim indeed has blood. Or the person next to you could be getting bit, but they don't want anyone to know, so they ignore it!Or get a higher repelant!

Yup, ankles. and other parts of your body that is bit sweaty and those where light can't come in. they don't come in light places. they like the dark so they can't be easily seen.
