Help, I keep getting chewed my gnats and mosquitos - what's the best thing to use to stop them from biting??

Question:
I have tried all kinds of "jungle" formula and "autan" but nothing seems to help.

I have even used citronella oil and candles but still get bitten.

I wish they would just buzz off!!

Answers:
MARMITE!! eat marmite every day for a week and they'll leave you alone, it ocntains a vitamin that they can detect that kills them so they dont come near you!

Other Answers:
Take a shower and use soap..

Go to your local drugstore and get some OFF spray, and stop wearing cologne or perfume, they like that. Just use some bug spray. they sell it everywhere and it works

Avons Skin so soft. Guaranteed to work

Two things, SKintastic is awesome and cheapMake sure whatever you buy has DEET in it. Then take Vitamin B-12, for some reason they don't like the smell or flavor of people who take high doses of B-12. weird I know, but it works.

Burt's Bees All Natural Insect Repellant

Way better than deet.

As some other people have said, Avon Skin So Soft - specifically Avon Skin So Soft : Soft and Fresh Dry Oil Body Spray. I tried it because I'd heard the army was using it in Iraq and Afghanistan to repel insects, and it seems to work. Find an Avon lady, the number is on their website.

get OFF spray for that. band-aids

Pull their teeth!

anything with deet

My mum swears by lavender essential oil.

Good for stopping the blighters biting and good if you're already bitten to soothe bites too.

Try some lavender and tee tree oil shower gel it works a treat.
Also avoid wearing white and wear loose cool clothes that cover you up.
Avoid perfume and other scented products that may attract them
