you must be near me! I take a small cooler, filled with ice, and put wash towels in it. Put them around your neck while out in the heat. Be sure to wear a brimmed hat and loose clothing, too. Try to stay in the shade (105 by the weather man is in the shade. It's 115 in the sun!).

Wet a small towell and drape it over your neck. Fill a bag of ice and use it to cool parts or the body. Get a big cup of ice water to drink.
Take a break in good shade as often as you can. Also take plenty of water to drink and drink it often, not just when you start to feel like you need it. If you wait until then you will probably already be feeling the affects of the heat that could hurt your health.
