Boil under skin.killing me!?

Question: I have a boil kinda like a rison under the skin on the inside of my thigh, its not come to a head and dosent even seem to be close but there is a hard ball there under my skin and its very very very painful.it even hurts to walk..does anyone know what to do about this? or anything i can use to dead'en the area so i can lance it myself?.i have tried hot compresses and that helps for a while but not for long.

I've read up on boils because occasionally I get them around my inner thigh, and I've discovered that in the event that it gets to the point where it hurts when you walk than you MUST see a Doctor immediately. Don't wait any longer it may already be infected.
