Lyme Disease,Borreli. anybody suffered the long term effects of this disease.?

Question: I had this illness for 7 - 8 years.I was crippled with arthritis,developed heart problems and eventually went totally nuts.Nobody here in Europe was able to find what was wrong with me,then eventually the problem was diagnosed in US.I would like to hear from those who've experienced similar conditions through disseminated lyme disease.
