Are children's vitamins okay for adults?

Question:
Some of those adult multivitamins can be too much for someone's body. Can taking childrens vitamins be just as good?

Answers:
Yeah. For the most part I would say that adult vitamins are just fine (unless you have a medical condition). Children's vitamins are also fine to take.

If you're worried, ask your dr. Just try to eat healthy well rounded meals and you'll be fine.

I got my friend to start taking OTC prenatals b/c they help her hair and nails..those are perfectly safe to take too.

If you're really worried, eat Total Cereal.

Other Answers:
they won't hurt you, that's for sure. And they taste better.

u should ask your doctor, but i'm just thinking they're called CHILDRENS vitamins for a reason. but seriously, ask your doc. I take them. Look on the package of what you are taking and look at the percent daily values, and you'll be able to figure it out.

Hehe. I just take two tablets a day and hope that it's enough for me. I can't seem to grow out of Flintstones Chewables.

yes i'm 21 and i take flintstones vitamins

No they will turn you back into a child. i take flinstones vitamins everyday

Adults and children have different needs when it comes to vitamins. Or any medication for that matter. Adult dosages would be too much for children and children's dosages wouldn't be enough for adults.

If it doesn't hurt a child, whose immune system's always weaker than a healthy adult's - I see no reason as to why not take them.

I think so. I take my Flintstones every day.:) yeah
