i have slip disk of l4- l5 for last 10 years, what is the treatment of getting rid of the pain?

Question:
pain is off & on in my lower back ,how to get rid of the pain ?

Answers:
If you have not already done so, go to an orthopedic doctor and have your spine checked. I have a ruptured disc in my lower back from a work related injury, it was verified by an orthopedic surgeon over 2 years ago. I underwent physical therapy and cortizone injections into the epidural area near the ruptured disc. In my case it worked and I haven't had to have surgery on the disc, however I still experience some pain in my lower back and left hip. I managed to find a Hangups Inversion table and use it when I start having pain. It's a table that you lie down on and it will allow you to invert to a position where you head is lower than your body, it is adjustable so you can invert only to the point where you are comfortable and then I just let gravity pull and relieve the pressure on the disc in my lower back. It really works wonders for me and after about 15 minutes the pain goes away. I've started trying to get on it at least 3 times a week for 15 to 30 minutes at a time.. But in your case it may or may not work please check with a qualified doctor before you try anything out of the ordinary.

Other Answers:
ask your doctor to refer you to a Pain Clinic.
I suffered from the same thing after a bad fall. I recommend finding a chiropractor who uses the Palmer method. I was told by a medical doctor that I would need back surgery, but it was unnecessary after treatment with the chiropractor. I am now back to normal, no pain, and able to lift like I did before the accident. Good luck!
try yoga,it will definitely work .all the best.
Tahitian Noni Juice was the only thing that helped me. Research it and try it out!!
