Do in-growing toenails start to grow out by themselves?

No they will contiue until you bite yer nails
It depends on how ingrown they become. The bacteria they can put under your skin can get pretty nasty. Best to coax it back out with orange stick or somethign similar. If it's really ingrown, see a doctor.
not really, sometimes they never go away believe me mine didn't go away till i went to a foot doctor and i got 1/4 of my toe nail removed. it hasn't come back! im happy
Toenail, ingrown: A common disorder, particularly on the big (great) toe. The corner of the nail curves down into the skin, often due to mis-trimming of the nail, or due to shoes that are too tight. An ingrown toenail can be painful and lead to infection. If there is infection present, that also requires treatment. In some cases the entire nail must be removed.
