Why Do I feel so groggy on a Monday morning, or any morning for that matter?

Because you haven't had enough sleep the night before. It's a bit more physiological on Monday mornings. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WANTS TO GET UP AND GO TO WORK!!
it is called monday blues ,because of of the break of week end honey , now i rememebr the saying - u need to have a dream to get up from the bed

Maybe you've had too much sleep or just had a restless night. When my husband lets me lay in on saturday sometimes i always feel more lethargic than ever.
If i get up and i've not had enough sleep i just feel tired. If i've had too much sleep, my head feels like its made of cotton wool or as if i've got a really bad hangover
you arent the only one I think that our bodies are reluctant to snap out of weekend mode and it affects us psycologically. soemthings we cant help. i hate today, its so lousy. but tomorrow will be fine, coz the sun will come out tomorrow bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be sun just.yah okay I'll stop
u probably didnt get enuf sleep. you may also want to determine if ur diet has anything to do with it. having particularly heavy meals very late at night, as well as some specific foods (particularly oily ones) sit heavy on ur stomach and dont leave u refreshed in the morning.

i feel the same way most mornings, mayb its lack of sleep or too much of it!

It's a strange thing about Mondays.it does feel harder to feel alert on a Monday morning!

I guess (unless you work shifts) it is because you've relaxed at the weekend and got used to not being at work.

I find that what can help is having an earlyish night on a Sunday, and reminding myself that it will be the weekend again soon!
