I hurt my left lumbar Thursday. Now?
Question:
Answers:
Yes. Actually your leg is NOT in pain. It's your nerves in your back, particularly the one that leads to your leg.
You probably have a pinched nerve, the one your brain thinks is the leg. It's possible to have phantom pain. I've experienced it before with a pinched nerve in my arm. Touch a certain place and it felt like a pain between two of my fingers.
Don't try a heating pad, it could cause further swelling which could make things worse for you. If anything, try sitting in a cool (or even a cold) tub of water. Ibuprofen is a good anti inflammatory medication. That's what I used when I had my pinched nerve. It helped some. And any help would be welcomed I'm sure.
Other Answers:
Several reasons. You're probably experiencing radiating pain into the left leg, possibly from a pinched nerve. I would wait until you see your physician tomorrow before trying anything like popping your back. Until then, ice is your friend.
