I get the worse migraines!?
Question:
Answers:
I recently started seeing a neurologist because of my migraines. He is working with me to figure out the best prevention medications for me and in the mean time has changed my painkillers to a prescription. It makes me dopey, but it works. If you can go to a neurologist or any doctor who knows about headaches they can help you.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry!
Registered Nurse Here; From personal experience, I started getting migraines about 10 years ago. I went to a neurologist, whom put me on two aspirin everyday. The same with my sister. Now it's seldom either of us have a migraine. I believe it would benefit you to talk to your doctor, and discuss taking aspirin with he or she. The neurologist told me that the aspirin, in theory was thought to interrupt brain spasms of the capillary in the brain that causes migraines. Again I would not start any type of medication regimen without first checking with your doctor, however this did help my sister and I. Thanks for the opportunity of answering such a well thought out and important question.
