I had a severe reaction to Vitamin B12. Has anyone ever done this?

Question:
The strangest thing happened early this morning. I got up about 5:20 and I've been having leg cramps the past couple of days. I looked in my medicine cabinet to see if one of my vitamins might help my leg cramps. I had a bottle of 250 mg of B12 and I took one of those. I went back to lie down and about 5 minutes later my head felt like it was on fire! Then my whole body and it turned red and began to itch. I got up to get some milk-thinking it would help absorb some how. When I got the carton of milk out I couldn't see! My eyes were open but everything was black. Then the next thing I knew I came to and I was lying in a huge puddle of milk! The carton was on its side and I was drenched in milk.
I have never heard of a vitamin doing that! It was just one but it does say on the side of the bottle that it can cause the hot flash type of thing and itching. I tried to look it up but as yet can't find much.
Anyone heard of this?

Answers:
It's very unlikely that a vitiman did that. Get to the doc, quite quickly.
