what is a simple blood test?

Question:
i have to get a simple blood test. is that like an iv in the arm or taking blood from like the index finger?

Answers:
A simple blood test is usually drawn from the arm in the doctors office or a lab. They do routine blood testing. If it is for a blood sugar from an accu-check then it is not usually referred to as a simple blood test. Cowboy up and just go.a simple prick in the arm

Other Answers:
needle in arm

Simple should be a prick of the finger for sugar & for cholesterol. its just drawing blood from your vien. id say not so simple is arterial, and oh ouch. yes no biggy

From my experience, they always use a tiny little needle in my arm, which is, yes, like an IV. That's not painful at all, really, but depending on where you go, they might use a big needle. I doubt that though, since it would be a simple blood test. Getting your index finger poked works, and I've had that done once or twice. It's not really painful, but it takes forever and they have to squeeze your finger really hard to get enough blood out. So I'd think they draw from the arm.
Ok, I've gotten poked hundreds of times for blood tests, because I have a blood cancer, Leukemia. I believe this should be a suitable answer for you :) Hope it helps It is from the arm ,usually it is CBC and CMP
