Is it approrpriate to use a grooved director in radial nerve decompression surgery?
Question:
Answers:
Grooved directors are traditionally used in Neurosurgery and Opthalmic surgery. But I guess the crux of the matter is if the surgeon is accomplished in using the director [it certainly can be fine enough to aid in Radial Nerve surgery] then there is no reason why he can't use it for this particular type of surgery.
Yes, but I don't think most surgeons use it for peripheral nerve surgery.
