Other Answers:
Keep him in your prayers.
Just stay by his side and hope for the best.
Talk with him. Tell him you are concerned. Be upbeat - he is as worried as you are. But, let him know you are concerned, and that you love him.
pray
Get the facts.
Dont worry it will be over like that and he will be back home with you!
don't worry. this is the 21st century. NOTHING is going to happen. on the other hand if doesn't have the surgery....
you do not say why he is having surgery? Tell us more and we can help more.
I would have a drink,. cuz there's not much you can do about it anyway, unless you are a doctor or something.
Ask youself, "Will my worrying change the outcome of the operation?" When you realize that the whole thing is out of your hands, then you can worry, but the load will be gone from your shoulders.
You should pray about this and trust the doctors to do their best. Stay strong and by his side. Best of luck!
Tell him how much you love him, and ask God for help, I will be praying for him too.
Be positive, both you and you dad need it. Talk with a friend but don't get into drama. Hug your dad, tell him that everything will be fine and that you will be waiting for him the whole time. Show him that you are are confident that he will get out of the surgery better then before. He needs your support.
And finally, if that is part of your beliefs, pray. This is out of your control anyway, so be rested and ready for when your dad will wake up from surgery, he will need your support.
Good luck to the two of you!!
Hi, hon. My heart goes out to you--what a tough time. The best thing you can do is be there for him. Ask him if he needs anything, and let him know you'll be there for them every step of the way. Tell him how much you love him. I don't know how serious this surgery is, but even if he wasn't having surgery, far too few of us tell those we love just how much they mean to us. I mean, we're hoping for the best here; hoping it all goes well and he'll have a speedy recovery. But what if something were to happen? Tell you dad just how much you love him and how glad you are to be his child. While you're at it, tell everyone you love how much they mean to you--they won't always be around.
I will keep you in my prayers. Good luck.
If you love him tell him how you feel and let him know your concerns.
No matter how much you worry you won't be able to change the outcome.Pray for the best.He will be fine.
