What are you view on the new anti-smoking law passed in Canada?

Question:
Apparently, there has been proof that Heather Crowe is the first person in Canadian history to die of lung cancer caused by second-hand smoke.

Answers:
From Canada. I like it. And I am a social smoker. My town, you can still smoke in bars. The big city close by, you can't. Sucks when it is freezing cold out, which is 8 months out of the year, but we all smoke less then.

One night club has huge heaters outside and music. I am not sure why they couldn't have a totally seperate ventilated room.

I don't like second hand smoke either.

Other Answers:
.I think it' s awesome, I wish they could pass that kind of law here in US

as a canadian who is deathly allergic to cigarette smoke, I am profoundly grateful. now if they would just quit walking the streets with lit cigarettes. I think they can do whatever they want to do in the respect of health, they are the ones who pay for every citizen's medical bills. So if it a risk to everyone's health it's a risk to their budget.

Its great they have that law here in the New York
