what is the standard pool temperature for safety purposes?

Our apartment complex advertises a 'heated pool' but it barely ever reaches 80 degrees and the kids have blue lips or freeze. In order for me to make a bigger stink, and have them raise the heater above 80 degrees, I need input. Thank you!!

Answers:
82-84 degrees is the ideal temp. If you are active (such as swimming laps) 80 degrees is fine. For a pool that is for everyday family fun it should be at least 82.

Why the place between our legs ( crotch) so hot while the other body partsare not that much hot?

80 is about average. Heating a pool is hugely expensive. That's why they probably won't raise it any higher.

What causes brown/dark yellow arcs to appear on finger nail beds close to the skin?

When I was a kid we swam daily in a huge unheated public pool. We were generally blue and shivering no matter what the temperature but we did it anyway and no one thought a thing of it. I would find it hard to believe there is any kind of "safety" regulations regarding pool temperature and 80 doesn't sound all that cold to me.

What kind of look do men prefer on women?

It all depends on if it is an outdoor or indoor pool. An indoor pool should be about 84 degrees. An outdoor pool should jsut be heated by the sun, unless you are in a cold state. But 80 degrees is a little too low considering the average temperature for a person is 98.6. If it is indoor you should get a petition or something and give it to your management. If it's outdoor, jsut wait for the sun to do its job.
