Does it pose any health risks to lay down after eating a meal?

Answers:
It depends where yoiu get it.I had one just below my waist, and they had to sew a screen in..it hurt for two weeks! It was in a bad spot, so no matter how I moved.ARRGGHHH!!

My wife just got one stitched up that was right above her bellybutton.wasn't so bad.a few days and she was perfect.

Depends on the way you are operated. In any case, two days of hospitalization and a lilltle pain will be there.

Are children's vitamins okay for adults?

This depends 1ST on the type of hernia you have, And 2ND Believe it or not how long you have dealt with the pain of the hernia. I've had three of them in my lifetime, The first one They cut me across my testicaland I was in the hospital for 3 days and had severe pain for approx. Three months. The other two were at the same spot, left side below my waste the first one was outpatiant surgery meaning the operated and as soon as I was awake and could urinate I was able to leave (Same Day). That one I had discomfort it wasn't even pain for 5-7 days. then I had the second one in the same spot because I reinjured and had a lot of scar tissue built up from the first surgery. That operation was also oupatiant they operated in the morning 7:00 AM and I left 2:30 PM that same day but I was in PAIN after that one for approx a month and a half and I was out of work for three months. I know others though and have seen some posts in here where 1 week and they were good to go.! Good luck and I hope your one of the few days of discomfort people.!!
