cough for 2 1/2 months is this normal?

Question: well ive had a cough that wont go away medication doesnt do anything i have no allergies and dont have athsma, doctor took xrays also and nothing turned up, they told me to wait another month and see what happens

It STILL could be an allergy-blood-pressure med-did your doc check for THAT allergy? ALOT of people who are on the same high-blood-pressure medicine for a long time get a type of nervous (and very annoying cough) are you on blood pressure meds? If so, tell your doc you'd like to try a new one for awhile. Happens alot.

You should see a specialist about this. Also ask your doctor if he had any other pactient that has what you are having now.

Coughing can be throat, esophagus, lungs. Coughing is the body's attempt to get rid of something that it thinks should not be there. The doctors have missed it. Go to more capable doctors.
