what are the emotions associated with receiving news that you are HIV positive?

I type medical records as well as psych reports and occasionally I will type someone who has been diagnosed and I haven't done one yet (about 6 in two years) that didn't go through the whole gammut of emotions from denial to anger to severe depression.all in that order.
