Core strengthening is where it's at. Do some crunches, only lifting your shoulders a few inches and holding for at least 5 seconds; strengthen your back by lying face-down, spread-eagle, and lift one arm and the opposite leg a few inches off the floor, and alternate (TUCK IN YOUR ABS FIRST OR YOU'LL HURT YOUR BACK). The cat stretch is good too. On all 4's, shoulder width apart, let your tummy sag/sway back, and breathe. Then raise your back like a frightened cat, pulling your belly button in as you keep breathing. Repeat several times.

I also find it helpful to sit on an exercise ball instead of an office chair when I'm at the computer. You'll strengthen your core without even noticing your doing it. Good luck. The best way to get proper excercises for your condition is to get them from a physio.
Your doctor should be consulted.
If you have both those problems, then you need rest more than exercise. If you are going to exercise, however, you should do low-impact exercises. Swimming would be great. No lifting, running, jogging, extreme bending, etc.
Hi, My husband is a doctor of chiropractic. he said "flexon distraction" .. go see a chiropractor. Make sure he practices Flexon Distraction.

and get proper excercise such as . resistive push ups.. your Chiro can show you. You need to strengthen your core muscle groups.

Stay away from medical doctors. they dont know about your back. If you have NOT had an MRI then its only a GUESS that you even have a bulging disk. So if a medical doctor told you this,, he is an idiot. Again, they know nothing about the back.
Ask your doctor.I'm assuming this was a genuine, bonified diagnosis? If not, and you really think there's a bulging disc somewhere in your spine, you should really get it looked at by a professional so as not to do serious harm to yourself.
I get that i just lay in bed it helps just relax
