You can keep clean! Good for you! I know it is hard but it was hard for me too and now I am 16 years sober.

Congratulations, Yvonne! You've beaten one of the hardest things there is! Keep doing what you need to do - find a strong support group of people who are clean and just take it one day at a time. Make time for the things and people you love. Walk on the beach. Get a pet. Help others in need and enjoy your life! BRAVA!
CONGRADULATIONS!! I know how hard it is. I am a crack cocaine addict sober for 8 (THANK YOU LORD) years. I never wanted it to end, but it WAS the end. Life is SOOOOO much greener over on this side. If you ever want to chat, my messenger id is jen32473. Congrads again. Keep your head up. and remember, that its better to be a dopeless hopefiend than a hopeless dopefiend.
i am glad to hear that..gods looking out.. get into a positive group.find some activities , get a hobby. stay busy..good luck my friend
Way to GO! Maybe you can find a supportive church and get some additional help from The Word of God.
don't worry god is there to help u. i am praying god to save u.
1) One Day at a Time.
2) Go to as many NA meetings as possible. All day long if available. Your only job is to save your life. Get into a structured halfway house if possible.
3) Get a woman sponsor as soon as possible. Your first choice may be based on big talker, nice clothes-car-job. That's OK, start with what you know. Over time you will figure whom to listen to in meetings and whom to sponsor you. You may need to change sponsors after a few months.
4) Rigorous Honesty is a critical goal. AA is a specific program that works best within it's designed function, alcoholics. There are several steps that say and mean that program is only for alcoholics. NA is for all drug addictions and you can find people that you identify with and that can understand you. Some addicts are still in denial and go to AA because they think alcoholism is a milder, classier addiction. Best to be honest and stay with the folks and program that understand you best! Put in effort. It's worth it.
