Why is my poo brown?

Question:

Answers:
It's not dead red blood cells. It's bile pigments that turn it brown, specifically a compound called bilirubin. If your body stops producing bile your feces can turn white.

Other Answers:
coz of dead red blud cells.
Good ? What does turn it brown?
Cause it is..
dead red blood cells. Food also mixes with each other, which is why it comes out different shades of brown.
were you expecting neon colors? it is a waste product!
eat a whole bag of blueberry twizlers and it will be blue instead would you rather that ?
wholy blue poo
poo is actually orangy-yellow when in your tummy. but the oxygen in the air actually turns it brown due to a process called oxidation (like how an apple turns dark when exposed to air). it is actually the iron in haemoglobin from your poo (due to breakdown of red blood cells) that oxidizes.
it's a combination of bile and dead red blood cells. In newborn babies, they tend to have yellow pooh because they're not expelling excess blood cells yet. The mix of bile (yellow) and blood cells (blackish red) yields the familiar brown poo hue that we've all come to know and love.
Take some iron pills and it will turn black. Make yourself malnourished and it will turn yellow. Eliminate iron from your diet and it will turn green. If this is not enough entertainment for you buy some clothes dyes and drop a different one in the water everytime you go-giving you the illusion of a different colour everytime. This should keep you entertained for a while-have fun!
