My little brother didn't speak either for a long time. My mom always said it was because my sister and I did all the talking for him. What was left for him to say? Although when he did he spoke complete sentences. He could he just wouldn't. I would talk to the doctor though.

a lot of kids dont talk until the are 2 1/2 or 3 there is nothing wrong with it, if you are really scaired about it go to the dr and have the child checked to see if he is deff or has another problem. it is nothing dont worry about it. my sis did not start talking untill she was almost 3 but she was reading when she started talking
