IT Band syndrome is hard to get rid of. Are you warming up a lot before you exercise? If not, you really need to start. The standard remedy is: Ice, long slow IT Band, hamstring and quad stretching, 30 second hold on the stretches, and repeat them 4-5 times. The best time to gain the flexibility you need is right after exercising. A strong perscription strength anti-inflammatory. You could need new running shoes. Best advise would be to go to a physical therapy clinic and get your leg and feet checked out.
