sore eyes from contacts.. what should i do?
Question:
what are the best contacts to use that dont dry eyes up so much and stay comfortable ALL day long?
Answers:
sounds like you need to use eye refresher drops. i've never used daily lenses, but i have weekly ones and they work great. also, the headaches could be caused by having the wrong prescription.
Other Answers:
Get razor bumps, mmm, can't get enough of those.
quit wearing them put your glasses on for a change, give your eyes a break
tell your parents see a doctor and wear your glasses
Try using eye drops.
Don't use contacts regularly . specially at night or while it is windy and dusty.. use Refresh Tears. an eyedrop which is really good.
You might just need to use eye drops that are gentle on contacts. Or it could be that you need to see your doctor and let him/her know what is going on. They should be able to let you know how to prevent the constant drying up of your contacts.
when I wore contacts I had to use "tears" all day long to keep the eye moist.
it also helped with preserving the contacts. I had two different brands and both had the same effect on my eyes. I was lucky in a way, had cataract surgery which gave me 20/20 vision , a big surprise. Artificial "tears" were my only help before the surgery.
try rewetting drops
Where Your Glasses Sometimes. Maybe Get Eye Drops. Thats What I Had To Do.
ask the doc, maybe ur allergic to it!
I use daily disposables, I tend to leave them in a few days at a time. They weren't acuvue though the were the cheapest brand available. If they made me uncomfortable, I would take them out, use eye drops and just use glasses for a while. If you definitely have the right prescription, maybe you are rubbing your eyes too hard and its giving you a headache. What you should try is just roll your eyes, very briefly. Or get one of those special eye masks with the blue gel, available at boots. Best advice though is to tell your optician.
hi, I've got a similar problem.
I now use Proclear. It's a monthly disposible.
well this happened to me and u might actually be having an allergic reaction to the contacts..try wearing glasses for a couple of days and see how ur eyes feel.if they feel much better then it might be gps.which is giant pappilary syndrome..its not as scary as it sounds but u might have to change ur brand of contacts.
