Hard lump and bruise on the inside of my calf?

Question: hi is there anyone out there that could help me i found a bruise on the inside of my leg near my calf about two weeks ago i cant remember knocking it so wondered how it got there also there is a hard lump inside the bruised area which is sore to touch the bruise is disappearing but the lump is still there at first i thought it was going to turn out to be a varicose vein but i cant see one so im a bit worried about it thanks Mary
