what are the jobs of the skeleton?

I am doing a research for school but I can't find the answer to this question.... anyone got an answer?

Answers:
I just learned this in anatomy and physiology. The skeleton has many functions.
1) it is the supporting framework
2) it is for protection
3) it is a reservoir for calcium and phosphorus
4) it manufactures Red Blood Cells
5) it is a storage site for adipose tissue
6) the bones with joints are levers for movement
To keep the rest of the body from being a pile of skin and organs on the floor.
