which are the fruits can diabetic can take/avoid??

Question:

Answers:
Diabetics can actually enjoy many different kinds of fruits because though they are a source of natural sugars the metabolism of these sugars is more gradual then processed or refined sugars.

The best way to chart the absorption rate of fruits and vegetables is to use the glycemic index. The index works by assigning a numerical value in the sugar absorption rate, the lower the value the slower absorption rate and the better for a diabetic. Do a Yahoo search for "glycemic index" to find a complete chart of fruits and other foods.

Other Answers:
All fruits contain glucose, so they should be avoided, but they can eat carefully anything. Lemon is best, that lowers the sugar level, melon is the worst. Plum is very dangerous, and if he/she is an old age person, the digestive system can easily be affected.
avoid mangos, banans, apples and all sweetish froots
take grapes, guava, pamogranates, oran. and you can take all citric acid that means all khatta fruits
I had always heard that diabetics should avoid citric acid, especially grapefruit. I thought that grapes should be eaten in moderation too.
This conflicts with what another person wrote here,so I will check for sure and get back to you.
