My husband has been suffering from body pain for about 1 month. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Question:
His pains do not let him get a good nights sleep nor enjoy time with the family and he could hardly work. The doctors have checked his blood for lyme disease, b-12 level, and rheumotiod arthritis. Everything has come back negative. His symptoms include tingeling sensation in the legs, his knees, shoulders, arms, hips, ankles hurt. He's taken muscle spasm medication, pain medication, sleeping medication and nothing seems to work. Any information or suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

Answers:
I think I understand his pain. I think he might of hurt his tailbone at some time. He should get hiscoccyx/sacrum x-rayed. check this website www.coccyx.org
maybe your mattress is too soft.
try a firmer mattress
Have him go to a doctor that specializes in internal medicine. You should be able to find one in your local phone book. I hope he feels better.
There are thousands of diseases that could cause these symptoms and most doctors are either too busy or too lazy or just do not really care enough. Try to get him into a university hospital where they can thoroughly research his condition, and you need to do it quickly before nerve degeneration or other types of physical damage occur.
Well, one possibility is fibromyalgia. It's more prevalent in women, and difficult to diagnose, so that could be why his doctor hasn't explored that possibility. He wouldn't happen to be a Vietnam, Gulf War, or Iraq War veteran by any chance would he? There are thousands of Vets who are sick now because of chemical warfare. If that's not a possibility, I don't know. Have they tested for hypothyroid disease? There are other neuromuscular diseases out there too.too many for me to remember. Try going to some different doctors too, one of them might see something the others haven't. I wish you both the best of luck, God bless you.
. Two things that come to mind which he has apparently not been tested for are Lupus and spinal stenosis.
. Lupus is an auto-immune disease which can attack any or every part of the body.
. Spinal stenosis is a narrowing one or several of the bony portals on the vertebrae through which the spinal chord passes. The narrowing of the passage can cause pressure on nerves, creating pain which appears to originate in a part of the body which is, in fact, not injured.
