my clothes dryer is vented into my attic space. can this be harmful to inhale?

Question:
when our furnace or ac is being used are we inhaling this?

Answers:
It depends on how your furnace is connected and where it vents out.
The only harmful thing to having your dryer vent in the attic is that it creates heat and moisture ,which can cause mold and mildew to form. This can be harmful to your health. It isn't that difficult to vent a dryer outside.
Usually an air conditioner brings in fresh air from the outside and a furnace when the heat is running is vented into the rooms of your home.
Hope this helps. But I would strongly suggest venting your dryer outdoors.

Other Answers:
no it is not harnfull, lots of homes do this It's just hot air and lint. will heat up the attic though. would be better if you extended the hose to the outside. maybe thru roof vent. that's what i did with mine.
oh no it is safe I mis read what you was saying I thought you said you was breathing that when the furnace kicked on ? no your safe
I did not see the ? mark
You really should vent the dryer to the outside. You can cause tremendous humidity problems in your attic if it isn't properly vented.
This is not good for one reason because your dryer vent needs to be cleaned once in a while and the reason for this is because lint will back up in the pipe and my cause a fire. Please have this check out.
