Other Answers:
Drain it, cover it, keep it clean.
warm compresses applied to area
A real abcess should be incised and drained.
Often however, what is called an injection abcess is actually an inflammatory reaction around the injection site--this should be treated with anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen and COOL compresses since heat is one of the cardinal signs of inflammation. Avoid massages and if there is cellulitis, take antibiotics before pus is formed and it becomes a full-blown abcess.
STOP USING! (Unless it's for medical purposes, then im sure the Dr. could help you with that). Hot compresses to drain it.peroxide.
