My son had same symptoms/off on for years & still does have your same symtoms if he gets water in the ear from showering,at the beach or in the pool.
He gets a product called swimmers ear & uses it & helps if he gets on it at 1st sign of earache, popping or the pressure feeling.

below is a website I can find most anything these days to identify what's going on.

You poor thing- I feel bad for you. Why don't you go to the doctor and get it checked out - loosing your hearing is nothing to fool around with. And also it could be something else and your ear is just fooling you into thinking it's your ear. GO TO A DOCTOR, PLEASE. Good luck and I hope you get over what ever your ailment is.
have your mommy take you to the doc's
Before you do anything go see a doctor you could be experiencing some sort of hearing loss or have an infection that could lead to hearing loss. Please get that checked out.
It sounds like you have some fluid in your ear canal. If you are not running a fever it should be safe for you to try some things before going to the doctor. You should take an OTC decongestant for a couple of days, such as Sudafed. This will help to open the ear canal, you probably shouldn't take anything with an antihistamine because this will just thicken the fluid and make it harder to clear. You can use a warm compress or moist heating pad on low heat also. It will help with discomfort and will also help relax the tube in your ear so the fluid can get out easier. And I wouldn't do any air travel until you get this cleared because the change in pressure will really hurt. If you have a fever of 100 or more for more than 72 hours you should go to the doctor because you could have a bacterial infection, if less time it is probably viral and will clear on its own. The recent studies have shown most ear infections are probably viral, so they don't need antibiotics. And if you can get better without them that is healthier so that when you do need antibiotics they will work. Many of our germs are now resistant to the usual antibiotics because people overuse them.
