A urinalysis is not a normal part of a 3yo physical exam. If the child has had urinary problems or signs of a urinary infection than the doctor may need a urine specimen. Otherwise, the doctor will perform a complete physical exam, and should be asking about the child's developmental milestones. If you have any questions or concerns, they should be addressed. There are not usually any immunizations given at this exam.
