What can you do to lessent the chance of nausea from anesthesia?

Question:
I'm afraid that my surgery will cause me to be nauseous and vomit. What can I do to lessen that chance?

Answers:
Ask your physician to give you anti-nausea meds during the procedure. They can be given through the IV and then ask for a prescription to take when you go home. Eat light the first day or 2 following the procedure - stick to liquids.
Tell the anesthesiologist about it, there are alot of new drugs he or she can give you to greatly reduce the chance of that happening.
