Can I continue to use advil if the expiration date on the bottle is 06/06 or should I buy a new one?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, you can continue to use it. The drug can potentially lose its potency after its expiration date, however, it should be okay to use still. It's certainly not going to hurt you.

I would probably just keep them but that is just me! If you are worried about it keep them at least for the rest of the month (after all it doesnt say what day in June.)
you could use it until the end of the month, then i would pitch it and buy a new one.
You should dispose of it on the last day of June. It is good until then.
Check with a pharmacist but I was told that as long as a pill is not crumbled then it is okay to use.
Advil is good for 80 days after it expires , as long as the cap is on proper and there is no air leaks
It will be absolutely fine for a LONG time. when in doubt.throw it out!
i've heard that it will take up to three long months for the pill to be spoiled. but just to make it safe, use it until the end of the month and toss it after
06/06 is an unlucky number, I would dispose of it immediately. If it were 06/99 I would say that it was okay.
Also keep in mind that many drugs like advil have half lives. If in the case of your advil its half life is 06/06, then any day after June 06 you would have to double the dose to get the same theraputic effect. This could lead to stomache problems maybe even kidney or liver failure.we would not want that now would we?
Chuck um!
"Rule of thumb" is that over-the-counter drugs are good for about 6 months after the expiration date. Some would say as long as a year, but it's not that expensive so play it safe.
