Anything rusted that punctures the skin might require a tetanus shot.
yes all of them and go soon.
Everyone should keep their tetanus injections current. I am a mechanical engineer and am always getting small cuts from metal so I top up my tetanus annually.
its allways safe to take a TT as a mandatory Precaution.
yes. all of them need .
Especially and necessary if injured from rasty mattalic object.
The bacteria that causes tetanus (lostridium tetani) are found in soil, dust and animal feces.
It's not oxidized metal (rust), rather, the dirt that is likely on that piece of rusted metal that will introduce tetanus to that puncture wound you've picked up.
So, if those object being stuck into you are clean, you have a less likely chance of getting tetanus that if they've been laying in the dirt for a few months.
Either way though, unless you can provide the date of your last tetanus, you're gonna get the shot. A tetanus toxoid booster is generally good for about 10 years.
Prevention is better then cure!
Metallic objects
Tetany sets in in 24 hr of any any injury.
pls take inj immediately
