My feet HURT?
Question:
Answers:
I read in Prevention magazine about 2 to 3 months ago [I think it was the walking one] that this is a condition called planters fascias. basically there is a tendon on the bottom of the foot and when it is tight the heal will hurt. Prevention recommended stretching it out by bending the toes toward your leg as far as possible. Prevention also said that leaving this untreated can lead to Heel spurs..
I have this problem and the above helped. What has helped me even more though is switching to Birkenstock shoes as they have significant arch and heel support. There are several good orthotic type shoes on the market and for me I can say the investment has been well worth it.

I agree with the above answer..that it would benefit you to be fitted with orthoic shoes. This will help you throughout the day.
Do you also have back pain? Having problem feet can eventually cause this too.
Here is a great website for orthoic shoes..and other shoes.
