My husbands sister has one blue and one brown. I have seen it a lot, so I do not think it could be that rare. But I didn't look up the statistics.

Ask Jane Seymore she has different coloured eyes.

I have only seen it once a friend of my has a daughter who has one blue eye and the other is half blus and half brown, took a while to get use to it.
