I hope you have contacted staff workers at a hospital emergency facility in your community and discussed the situation with them. Lipitor is a cholesterol reducing medication, something most 2 yr olds can do without. In rare cases, it can cause mucle weakness and liver damage in adults after prolonged usage. See the link below for info on other side-effects. Have you picked up the phone yet? It would probably be best to contact your poison control number if you have one. If it is serious enough they will call ahead to the hospital for you and help arrange for the child to get medical attention as quickly as possible. And if it is not life threatening they can let you know right away. Most phone books have those numbers in the first couple of pages.
