Why do my eyes shed tear when cold air blows on them?

Question:
Ever since I got sty it has happened.

Answers:
When air blows your eyes produce tears to keep them wet. There are ducts in the eye that drains the excess tears into the sinus.

When those drainage ducts get blocked your eye will produce a tear.

I don't know what sty is.but cold air in your eyes, dries the retina than a production of lubrication is needed therefore you get the tears, to protect and lubricate your eyes.
It has nothing to do with the sty. When air goes over your eyeball, it dries the eye a bit. Tears are the way the eye lubricates itself so you don't scratch the lens of the eye when you blink. If you ride a motorcycle for the first time, this will happen quite often. Cold air, warm air, makes no difference. When the eye feels dry, it will call on the tear ducts for moisture.
