They have "modalities" (pain relieving equipment) that they can use to decrease your pain. they are also educated in giving appropriate exercises to strengthen. If it is your rotator cuff, they will be able to address it as well as an orthopedic surgeon, minus being able to operate on it.
everyday, move your arm in 25 circular motions to the front and the back, try not to do any arm sports and no arm wrestling, also try to get a cream that soothes the joints anad electro therapy, it helps alot!
