Any one had an eye exam?

Question:
Once i did and they put drops in my eye that made my pupils really big and i had to wear sunglasses the rest of the day.anyone know why?

Answers:
its done to check for problems
yes; they use the drops to dilate (open) the pupils so that they can look into the eye and examine a larger area of the retina.
They dilate your eyes for certain tests, possibly to check for glaucoma. It's good to be checked for it.
Looking for some disease and need the retina open
they wanted to look at your retinas. they can't see them very well unless they dilate your pupils to make a bigger hole to look through. not every doctor does this every time, but it is a good idea to have it done once in a while.
your eyes were dilated to check for things not visible w/out dilation.
you were dialated so that the doctor can do certain tests and to look at the health of the eye that otherwise can t be easily seen when you are not dialated
it's normal; the drops are to dilate your pupils
intesifys the brightness and it ain't fun it gave me headache
