Do you mean behind your kneee, like where the "bend is?" If so - could be cartlage tear, ACL, MCL - a host of tendons, ligaments and muscles and cartledge, etc. See a Dr if it persists.

you pulled your hamstring..
or could be the beginning of a pinched nerve

Probably your hamstring. It could be your Miniscus (I can't spell) as well. That's what I hurt, it's the gell sack basically right under your knee cap. It hurt everytime I go upstairs.
You may have a condition called a "baker's cyst". It happens when fluid leaks fron the knee joint into the tissues above the calf muscle. It could be a short term thing or you could have possibly torn a meniscus (cartiledge). At any rate, you should see an orthpedic surgeon.
your body is a unique figure, probably your weak spot from your muscles. In my one knee, my rightside gets itchy and i have to bang on it to make it feel better, or pressing hard on my knee helps. but to you it is the back of your knee, so it must be the muscle part of your leg, must be making stretch of your legs. stretch and wiggle at the same time, eat meat.
You may have tendonitis in your knee caused by having a weak hamstring.
